Look great, where did you get them from? I'm after a set for my S4 and these would be spot on.

I bought mine from Finnish shop http://www.vannetukku.fi for 450€

Those were pretty cheap imo.

Sorry to be off topic here, My brake calipers are painted green yet everyone on here seems to have red ones  Is that something people have done?

My car is a 2007 Octavia vRS TFSI

Red calipers came in the MY07 so yours was a late MY06

Ah that would explain it, Thanks

I'd only rely on that jack for emergencies out on the road, invest in a proper trolley jack.

Sod it, I am obviously flat out in work so I can upload these pics from my phone :D

This officially was my car on Saturday when they went on: Check out the steelie wheeled wonder behind mine :D I could not do that to the Blue Bruiser!

Then I made use of the Skoda wheel storage bags I got in the dealers last week for 20 Euros great job very impressed

For some strange reason i love black steel wheels on a car. My old winters on my beemer where like this. Looks totally robocop-ish.

I have 2 trolley jacks and 2 bottle jacks but not with me here moved all tools etc back to UK in the summer. I have had to use jacks supplied with cars a few times over the years but normally hat I would describe as fit for purpose, you would have thought I was lifting 10 ton the way it reacted. Out of interest where are people using as a jacking point for trolley jacks? I recall some adding some Audi pucks.

Not that I have lifted mine yet - but my trolley jack includes a rubber pad so I will use the sill jacking points when I do to change the wheels over.

Not quite cold enough down here yet for my new Winter set.

Very nice! Can you get any more? :)

In theory I could but to post them to UK might not be worth it prob makes them 75% more expensive individually. Ordering in bulk from here if a UK dealership is unable to source them then distributing would most likely be cheaper. I am happy to be of help if I can.

Available on the bay, £20-£25 ish

Do you happen to have a link?

HAHAHAHAH thats exactly what I have been saying for years and think of when I see black steelies ROBOCOP! I just watched it again last night in HD for first time in years classic! Was liking the rough brute look of the trimless wheels (on the black Ford Tauruses in matt black all over) but I don't like them on race blue and I got my new alloys cheaper than I could have got steelies even from a scrapie by pure chance at the end of last winter.

these seem to be very similar design/materials just different colours and no big F' Off Skoda logo on them. Exact same design and size in fact.

Those bags are all fine and well and certainly look snazzy with their wheel location logos on but I still think a wheel tree with a single cover over is far better. Reason: the wheels are under no pressure as they are individually hanging. Storing the wheels upright (as they are on the car) has all four touching the ground. Stack them horizontally on top of each other and you make it even worse for the bottom tyre with the weight of the other 3 on top. Furthermore you do not have to keep tyres dust free and clean whilst in storage since they are tyres and experience far worse once back on the car! So nope, in my book a tree (with or without a cover) is still the best way to store wheels and tyres AND cheaper than the ones shown above.

Only if you have space for a tyre tree :p Mine are stored on racking shelves that are already taking up space and nothing can bump into them or knock them over. Dust is not a major issue nor will these bags prevent it as they are not fully sealed. Reason for the bags for me is they all fit in boot standing up side by side in the bags it offers them protection from each other and the interior protection from the wheels be they dirty or clean they can scuff the interior. Handle also makes them easier to carry at arms length and lift (in a manual handling sense complete wheels are a nightmare), plus means I wont get dirty in process. Cheaper than £16.37 would be one cheap tyre tree though if you can get a sturdy one for less! I cant see tyres sitting horizontally or vertically causing any damage or flat spots etc under only the weight of the rim itself, it can take several months of wheels sat still under the static weight of the entire car for this to happen. I also don't need to remove my centre caps each time and store them separately so as to not let them scratch each other (have you seen how tight the new ones are on the 18" Neptunes!!!!!!)

Had them in the car in bags and was very happy that with them on I didn't suffer the usual stink of rubber

**Dam you 900000 for editing adding pics I shall now have to go back into work to take a pic of where mine are stored :D brb** :D
