What is it with this weather?!!? A terrible August and now this never ending "heat"!!! Yet 17" of snow already in north east America!

We also spend half our time in deepest west sussex where the weather conditions are different (albeit not as tough as up North) but plenty of slippery hills and narrow lanes to cope with.

Regarding looking for suitable VAG wheels on ebay I agree most people on ebay are uselss at giving proper specs for wheels so I waited until I could work out which Volkswagen model would mote than likely have wheels of the rights specs (in my case a passat B6) and waited til a few of those came up on ebay and then asked the sellers to confirm the specs stamped on the isnde of the wheel befopre bidding. The link to pics and specs of Passat 16" wheels which was on my other thread (see link below) helped a lot in terms of getting a quick visual on which wheels on Ebay would be likely to fit - it was hard work initially but paid off in the end and saved me a packet in the end which meant I could spend more on the tyres.
