Bringing a New Vrs to Briskoda!

Featured Replies

Finally bought myself a FabiaVrs after over a year of looking for one, after my first car which was a 53 Seat Ibiza petrol I wanted to treat myself after landing a good job and wanted someting with some whoomphhhh!and was affordable for my insurance as im only 19 so a Fabia Vrs it was after being in a friends I was hooked!!!!, I wanted one that was low miles! Unabused by a Barry! Clean&Tidy and looked after! and had some Factory Options as I want to keep this car for about 3 years until I manage to get myself a company car at Work....

So Heres My Spec.

*Bought at 45,000 miles from a garage with warranty and had a full service before sale.

*Full service history and log book.

*2 owners within the same family.

*Unabused with great paintwork and bodywork, just few stone chips etc.

*Factory Fitted Xenons&Washers.

*Factory Fitted Cruise Control.

*ESP&ASR.

*Orignal Vrs Floor mats.

*TOYO Proxes all round. (Getting 2 new Fronts)

*Aero Wipers all round brought to upgrade the standard wipers.

*Sony Headunit.

*Had the Car mopped&machine polished to remove any swirls and light scuffs etc came up great after.

*Unfortunatly the Turbo went pop :( a few weeks back but had a brand new VW PD130 unit replaced on the warranty then had another service after fitting of the Turbo :) all and all saved me alot of £££££££ as I dint have to pay a penny FTW!

In the future maybe looking at coilovers to improve handling and stance of the car,And if I can get my hands on some the SE factory Fitted Leather Seats will be put in! But at the moment im so so impressed with the cars build quality! Its performance! Fuel ecomony I average 50mpg but have got 63mpg on motorway runs! and the car overall is top notch!!!

So Here she is...

I'm 19 with two years no claims and a clean license. I couldnt get a a vrs quote for loveable money! I had to settle for a 1.9tdi elegance!

What is loveable money lol? Is it not Love nor Money??

Very nice and the best 05 in silver.... :p

Insurance now is a joke i got my 1st vrs at 19 for 700 in 2007

I was 19 when I got mine in January 2010 and paid £1100 with 1year ncb.

i got my vrs when i was 20 and 2 and a half years on, i dont think its too bad insurance wise. What other car with similar performance from a remap only/economy would be insured for less?

What a clean car!!! Mint!!

First mod gotta be lcr splitter. ;)

Tidy mate! Another new owner here.

LCR, remap and coilovers are good moves.

Upgrade your bulbs to 6000k also, nice White/blue temperature. Refraction from the projectors looks awesome too.

Hello 'Will.Morgan'

Hope you really enjoy your Fabia VRS, as most of us do.

Question, did you get 2 sets of keys, as they are a bit expensive to get a replacement set.

Fellow members have bought cars in the past without having a second set, and complained about the silly money to get a set.

Have you had a look at what spare wheel you have?

Sell me your headlights £400? I'll give you my headlights too

lovely car

+1 on the remap, get a custom economy one done at around 165 bhp you'll definitely notice the extra oomph and won't need to uprate any other parts

+1 on the lcr splitter they look great

coilovers.... i hate mine, wish it had the original susp. Probably would have went for eibach springs on standard shocks instead of coilovers

If you want a standard set up i have one. Il swap you for your coilovers, or you can buy the set up off me if you like :)

Lovely looking car mate.
