What to do with numberplate surround

Featured Replies

Right then, doing quite a lot of colour coding with the car, I'm going silver and light blue, so soon will be getting new badges, already got the grill sprayed silver, mirrors are completely silver, and the rub strips taken off, brake calipers are going blue, but now I've got the black number plate surround that needs attention, do I -

1 spray it light blue?

2 spray it silver?

3 spray it black (which won't go with the whole colour coding thing)

4 suggestions,

Also looking at spraying the splitter silver with the edges light blue.

I started to have a medium/ metallic blue theme on my black VRS but no-one seemed to like it. I started with the grille surround and fog surrounds but it still got slated, so I got a bit dis-heartened and gave up lol

Were you doing the side strips blue as well? or just leave them off.

What were you going to do for the wheels? Maybe have a blue pinstripe around the edge of the rim.

silver and blue might work all depends on the shade of the blue imo.

as for dark hero i did see the pics of yours, i dont know what it was but just dint manage to pull it off with the black paintwork agen maybe the wrong shade of blue. on other hand absoulutly love the leather, something about bright coloured leather in a car always does it for me.

Rub strips are off, not sure about messing with the paint work on the bbs rims they were a but to expensive and a but new to alter YET! It would be a light blue that I would go for and hope it worked I haven't thought about a darker shade?
