hi what is the need of the thing?

does it do anything if its removed and how would u remove it and what would i need if did remove it?

What car we talking about am guessing one with a 20v turbo lump in it,

I've removed it on my vrs, it is intended to help warm the cat in exhaust up quicker,

There is a guide on how to do it in octy bit of forum, just be warned putting resistors in doesn't always work, i did and engine light still came on, now it had it remapped and had it mapped out, killed 2 birds with one stone
