After waiting since the start of April, my Race Blue vRS arrived at the Dealers this morning.

In the words of the Salesman, "It looks awesome"! I've not seen a Race Blue with the Black Pack yet so I could be one of the first to post pictures. Going down there tomorrow to sort out paperwork with pick up at the weekend.

I'll get a few shots tomorrow pre-PDI and again at the weekend.

Congrats on the car! I am sure you will love it from the very first moment for its power, and at the same time appreciate it even more for its everyday comfort and practicality... Pictures would be interesting to see, I was considering blue before White won me!

Oh, and don't get me wrong but I think this is the first thing they learn at "dealers school" : Sir that is trully one of the best colors I've seen!

It was said to me when I recieved it, and to two other friends of mine when we went to pick up their new cars. In fact I don't know a dealer that hasn't said that! The important thing is if you like the color you chose, as you'll be seeing it everyday for a long time so as soon as this is true, nothing else really matters!!!

Yes, totally agree about "Dealer Spiel"! A close friend of mine works for Rolls Royce and he says he hears exactly the same despite Phantoms etc being an everyday sight.

I did ponder the colour carefully and almost went for silver (as my current MK1 vRS is this) but thought the shape of the current Fabia suited the blue so I'm quite happy.

can i ask where your based in East Sussex, i live in Bexhill and commute to Tunbridge wells on either A21, A267 or A22.

i'm often aroung heathfield way too, BUT i've never to this day seen a Fabia vRS in the flesh on the road. it would be nice to see one everyday on my commute or around on the weekend

Well this is the thing, i use a few cars to get to work take the last 20days i have used the following vehicles

Mercedes Sprinter 313 Long wheelbase colour white

Fabia 1.4mpi red 51 plate

fabia 1.4 16v silver x plate

Felicia 1.3 pacific estate V plate

Mercedes 300e-24 Sportline J plate

also borrowed my mums focus the other day.

tbh i'm either the fool driving on the A21 at 45mph with a queue behind me(my record is 67mpg in my red fabia) or i'm the idiot overtaking everyone and driving within an inch of the limit.

it's about a 95% to 5% split.

I think i would have literaly wet myself if i had seen your car. i always keep an eye out especially for the Estate vRS(their super sexy)

Normally i drive a lowered 1.6 felicia with 15" bmw bbs alloys on. but thats broke, at the moment i'm using my dads new felicia pacific estate(also blue)

I'm in the Brighton area and don't get down to Bexhill very often. You may see me up and down the M23 though!

How good are the Lights on the "BlackPack" Set up. I have a friend who has a Vrs with the Black pack and he says the lights are Pants.

I believe they are Projector lights "with a DE module" (from the Official Fabia brochure). My MK1 vRS has factory-fit Xenons so I will be upgrading to something more 'appropriate' in the new one soon enough.

If black pack or not appears all the Fabia lights are 'pants'
