If black pack or not appears all the Fabia lights are 'pants'

I do agree but I would imagine that the Black doesn't reflect the light as good as the chrome inserts.

ive nothing to compare with but i have to say my black pack lights are fine, as good as any ordinary lights ive used

i guess the only way to know is line two fabias up side by side on dark night

I'm in the Brighton area and don't get down to Bexhill very often. You may see me up and down the M23 though!

Hi Lee,

It looks a bit odd to me. Blue is the best colour tho ;)

not much to look out for when you pick it up.

Im sure you will have spoted most things on the forum anyway.

Changes that can be made, which dont always seem to be the same on all cars

DRL's on or off.

Auto locking of doors or single click to open all doors.

And number of flashes of indicators.

Im sure there are other things that can be set as well, but cant think of them...

Have a look through the forum about running in and the oil use of the MkII.

From what I can gather you need to drive it normaly from day one. (Obviously treating it with some respect for the first 100 miles or so. But it has been said that the engines have a decent "runin period" in the factory, so this may not even be necessary.

Only booting it when it is properly warmed up. Or you will get an engine management light that will scare you!

I red lined it when in sport mode after about 200 miles, I Didnt intend to but I was having a play :giggle:

Since then I am approaching 9k now, and only use about half a litre of oil.

Other than that, Enjoy.

I just noticed it has silver wheels and did you say it has the black pack on? Quite a strange combination for my taste with all the dark "mean" look in front but silver on the wheels? Maybe If I see it all together I will reconsider, post new pics with front and side of the car when possible!

Found this on Skoda's website:

Blue with Black Pack

Hmm... Very strange combination... Thanks for the pics!

I personally think it looks fantastic in that combination.

Yep, looks great!!

Does look good in blue with black pack and black wheels...

Sonner - yep live in T.Wells. Do you work there?

I'll qualify my liking of it further by saying I prefer the race blue colour with silver wheels and black pack rather than black wheels. Either combination and you've still got a great car though.

Very nice in that combo! Enjoy it :D:thumbup:

Today's the day folks.

I'll post a few more pics and feedback of my initial thoughts in the coming days.
