I have been driving Skodas since the days when the engine was in the back and trust me, I used to get loads of dog's abuse. In fact I'm sure plenty of the folks now on Briskoda were guilty of Skoda jokes back in the day.

As has been said, why should we really care if someone else thinks they're better or their car is better? If someone is willing to pay thousands extra for a different badge and (with the exception of Audi) poorer reliability etc then let them.

It was exactly as you described and was a maroon colour. Stupid chav. Also had off a misguided mate of mine who loves Peugeots said Skodas are cheap crap and I should have got a VW/Audi. I think you can imagine what my response was
