Just got a bloody dent in the middle of my bonnet from what must of been a boulder!!!

Any ideas on how to fix it? its gone right down to bear metal, so i've had to touch it up, but i'm hoping the dent will pull (or push, coz you can see it on the inside of the lid) out. Its about the size of a 5 pence piece & about 3 or 4 mm deep.

Anyone know any good companies who could sort it??

Maybe some company like chipsaway ?

If you can see it on the inside it can be 'teased' out by someone who knows what they are doing. Similar dents on Ford Demonstrator Fleet cars were sorted out by applying pressure with a long metal rod with a round knob on the end. The person doing it was very good at the job and the end result was undetectable. I suggest you speak to a car body repair shop.

Dentmaster and Chipsaway are now the same company AFAIK (that is, all Chipsaway now).

I had them look at a dent in my door from where someone had reversed into it - the guy said that

if it was a "gentle" dent he could push it out. However, as it had creased the metal, if he pushed

it out the crease would still show.

Still worth getting them round to take a look at it though!
