Fair comment! :S

If only we got the 1,8 with a DSG I'm sure a lot of folk on here would have bought it.

+1

I would have also been interested in a 1.8tsi (preferably a 2.0tsiemoticon-0136-giggle.gif) DSG.

I wonder why Skoda does not offer this comabination for you... I also first thought it will be some "eastern Europe" thing but even Finland gets this one.

I hope to god that MTM will makes chip for this engine. To be more exact -for this 112kw output. As 118kw/160HP gets over 200hp with it (and the warranty in our dealer remains untouched) then anything even close to 200hp makes me a very happy Yeti-owner  4x4, DSG, 200hp... mmmm

so... I have a building week clear.. 7. I hope at least we have a little snow left when I get my Yeti. I have a manual 1,8TSI in my Skoda dealer which I use for now and - holy moly it is great fun in snow

this 112kw 1.8TSI is especially available to some regions? As I know, the VW engine plant in China builds 1.4TSI(96kw),1.8TSI(118kw)and 2.0TSI(147kw).

Yes. First it went (as far as I know) only to Russia. Then other "eastern block" (Baltics, Poland etc) countries followed. And in Finland also available. But somehow it is not available for UK etc...

Lovely photos you too there ejm! Great combination of car colour, black Annapurnas and black roof. I like it.

The photos are great and it looks excellent. Personally Id have stuck with black roof bars on the black roof but overall thats a great look. Black door mirrors could also be interesting...

+1 but I did not want to mention it for fear of sounding like a broken record. :giggle: But yes that car is screaming for some gloss black vinyl to be applied to its mirrors!

Thank you for you all comments. I think that i like car originals. Newer, however, does not know if the mental changes! I hope that soon you will get also from the petrol model of the 4x4 with DSG.

Looks like a great car & specification.

Love the contrasting interior.

Does it come with flappy paddles on the steering wheel?

Does not have the option to subscribe to the flappy paddles on the steering wheel.

The 2.0L DSG is rather spiffing too Johann.
