  • Picked the car up yesterday and... WOW! Stonking car. Really pleased with it. I got the grille swapped and painted green to match and it looks amazing. While I love the green, it's wierd. It seems t

  • It has potential......

  • Sorry to say but they have a green VRS in the showroom of my local dealership and it looks bad. I can see it being a popular colour on launch but I think people will settle back to the regular colours

That's nice it will match my ear tunnels.

Nice in daylight - thought it would be darker like the "old" British Racing Green. Those wheels need to be left alone. Black ones are ***t.

Nice.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, I've been eagerly awaiting some "proper" pictures of this. Is your's the first in the country then?

What about the inside does it have the dark trim ?:)

Looking very nice.

Are you mad?????? I agree on the shade of green though, needs to be darker. IMO!

More Emerald Green?

Can someone photoshop it into Emerald Green? emoticon-0138-thinking.gif

No I'm "not mad". I just think black wheels are awful. I won't take offence at the suggestion that I am....

Yes, according to the dealer (they already had it on order, apparently as a showroom car when I came knocking, it was the colour I wanted, and the spec was good, so I bought it instead!). There's another one due into the country any time now though...

It's got leather seats and a sort of dark, carbon effect on the trim (which looks waaay better than it sounds IMO! :giggle: )

Pics? Think mine might have it but I hate the idea of fake carbon fibre - we'll see when it turns up...

That's the normal "upgraded" vRS leather upholstery or is it the alcantara?

Ordered one in Steel Grey too with sunset, silver rails, and parking sensors. That's going to get built the first week in Jan apparently, although I'm sure that will slip back a week.

Really looking forward to seeing both of these.

James, is this a new colour? different to Anthracite?

Yes.

Get behind thee sataaaaaaaaan!

It's the optional leather interior.

Are these new "spec" interior finishes officially on 2012+ builds? Ie the carbon flashes/door inserts etc?

It's the optional leather interior.

Ta for that.

I'd like to see what the alcantara looks like.

Me too, it has unique red stitching which sounds nice.

better in the flesh but race blue still hands down the best colour lol..

the black alcatara looks awesome aswell as the carbon.
