How much can a clutch handle

Featured Replies

Given the BLT engines put out about 150 BHP on the same clutch I would not worry about trying to keep the BHP low.

Just get as much as you can but don't go silly on the low down torque.

Personally I would get it all as high as possible without going silly and then not drive it like an idiot at low revs ie under 2500.

that is a very good point im new to skodas and all the parts they share lol im even more of a newbie to diesels lol so im really not wanting to blow anything after just a week of owning it lol. but that is something il take into consideration maybe il go to 165 bhp and about 260 lbft of torque

A good tuner should be able to give you a custom map with same peak power but with not so crazy low end.
