Felicia 1300 estate

Featured Replies

Hi everyone thought I would introduce myself.

I have a Felicia estate that I have had for a number of years and now starting to have a few little problems. the lastest one is as follows:

Help !Has anyone any suggestions to the problem that I am experiencing with my Felicia 1.3 estate.

It will drive for a good few mile then start to stall. When I accelerate it will not respond. If I stop it stalls. It starts again without any bother and will continue for a good few more miles until it repeats the problem.

I have done over a 100,000 miles in it and have recently (sine this problem started) had the plugs, Distributer and cap replaced. Timing chain replaced.

Any ideas?

Change the coolant temp sensor, bit of a long shot but they can play havoc with the engine ECU's fueling when they go haywire.

It goes for around a hundred miles then starts to play up. I did wonder if it might be something to do with the diaphram in the fuel pump?
