Thank You Everyone and Good Bye

Featured Replies

Well just a short note to say "Thank You" to all the members on here who have given me advice and provided me with a lot of interesting reading. I have found this forum invaluable for advice and knowledge. Thankfully i have managed to sell the Skoda. As far as im concerned it has been the WORST car i have ever owned and has cost me a substantial amount of money since ownership, with various problems and faults. I appreciate there are many happy owners out there, but i can genuinely say that I am not one of them and this will have been the last skoda that i EVER buy. I wish you all the best and hope you all have a good Xmas.

Sorry to hear that. You haven't had the pleasure of the Ultimate Driving Machine. CAT , fan, power steering, new bottom half, ABS wheel sensors, Airbag light, electric window motors all failed over 2 years after buying a 4 year old 523 SE. Niemals wieder. The Germans call them Bayerische Mull Wagen - Bavarian Rubbish Trucks. There is always a lemon off every production line.

Gutted for you bertie sorry to see you go have a happy christmas wnd btw what is the replacement??

#So sad to watch good love go bad.#

Shame to throw the baby out with the bathwater tho'..

Hope your next wheels will be kinder.

Sorry you had a bad experience. Mine has 105k and has been very reliable.

I am currently owning my 3rd Skoda from new. So far no big issues at all and just few very small. Probably you just got bad luck.

Nah nah naaah nah...

?

So sorry that you had a "bad un" and hope that you find motoring happiness with your new brand of motor. I can only say that my experience of Skoda has been spot on and i have absolutely no problems.

Remember that you are always welcome to pop in for a natter bertie, we still have members driving non-skoda cars and even non-vag cars. Take care m8 and happy motoring :)emoticon-0148-yes.gif

So you're never ever gonna buy another Skoda ever again..

You know the saying Never say Never :D

See i told you, your all nice friendly people :'( .I know that i landed up with a "lemon" :wall: but it just leaves a bitter taste. I have been driving for many years now and i'm mature enough to realise that every company has it's lemons but until it happens to you, it's never a problem. I have now bought a BMW 330i B) and it's absolutely mint. I just cant get over how different both cars are, and i'm not talking about the engine, its the quality  As i said in the beginning hope you all have a great Xmas and enjoy your motoring, it's been great on this site and i have met some really helpfull people(you know who you are :peek:)So this is definately my last post :moon:

See you all

You don't have to go now you have a BMW (nice car by the way) as I managed to survive (only just sometimes) on here when I had a BMW and even now I have the also hated Audi :D
