Fantastic, your car looks like a proper Tarmac spec wrc.

If you can get some photographs in a more picturesque location then surely your car deserves a place in the 2017 briskoda calendar.

Thanks,I'm growing more fond of the look by the day but picked up another car today so that will take priority and don't know if I'll want to do anything more to the octy :(

So putting it on the road and taking it somewhere for some better photos may never happen.

so for the time been it can stay parked up and I'll decide what to do later on in the year and if it comes to it I'll sell it if somebody wants to take it further or just break it for bits.

Cheers Darrell but it's no show car,it looks ok on pics but up close it's not so great,it's only a patchy rattle can paint job with no major prep work,in fact I recon a pressure washer nozzle close up would blast all the paint off back to it's original black magic paint haha

I'm just not sure if I'd really use it for anything so I'll leave it sat there for now until I know what I want to do with it.

Not very good but good, just a quick edit. (Hope you don't mind)

Sad to hear, but as long as you are happy with the deal, than that is all that matters really.

If I'm not being too nosey, what is your new project?.

Edit, don't worry, just found the 996 thread - very nice

Wow I didn't think you'd ever let it go. Must have been hard to see it disappear on a trailer.

Gutted man, yeah he's on fb and said he'd bought it and is doing his own thing with it which is great. Been awesome following the build and it was the car that made me get my mk1 originally.

Thanks kentphil1,it was sad to let it go but I knew deep down that it would never end up back on the road and would just sit on the garden deteriorating over time, glad you like the new project too :)

Cheers Rob,I thought it would be with me forever too and if I'd never gone down the stripped out interior route then it could of still been in use today as it was only the fact of having no back seat etc that made it impractical so just always had to use the wife's car instead and it was strange watching it drive away on a trailer and knowing it would never return :(

Cheers for the kind comments and enthusiasm for my build over the years Si,it's been appreciated :)

Every time I see this car I wonder if the wheel arch extensions can be filled with filler so the arches looks blended together out of one peace with the rest of the body, like the real WRC kit...
