Featured Replies

HELP! My wonderful Skoda Felicia driver's side lock no longer works. The key just turns without the lock operating. Does anyone know how I can get a replacement barrel and keys?

It might just be that the linkage rod has popped off the lock. It's worth whipping the door trim off to have a look.

Edit, if I recall the lock and key can only be bought as a complete set nowadays.

Octavia owner briefly passing through...... :p

When the drivers door lock on my Felly Fun broke, I got a barrel to fit the key from a dealer for about £20. It was a VW-style blade (I don't know what the older Fellys had) Much easier than faffing around with two keys. ;) Plan B was to tae the barrel out the passenger door and do a swap.

You could find that the plastic socket on the end of one of the rods has either popped off or broken.

There's a clip on the back of the barrel that sometimes breaks. If this has happened, drop me a PM as I have a spare barrel somewhere with a clip on. (Mod Note: before anyone gets up their own backside on this, just ask chicken_eyebrow how megaly expensive the twin to this barrel cost him before even thinking that this is a sale :p)

Many many thanks to freelanderman, Teflon Tom and RainbowFore for all the suggestions. I shall work my way through all of them and I'll be knocking on your door for that spare barrel Rainbow Fore if all else fails. Really appreciate it. Shall let you know what happens. Fingers crossed.
