Radio Gaga

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a 1.4 skoda fabia, 2003 model, which I bought second hand and the radio has gone a bit mental!

None of the buttons work on the radio and I am not able to get any form of radio, except the traffic reports! It is a tape deck, so I have a tape converter to my iPod. Now whenever I eject the tape ivp get the message "tape wind" constantly. The traffic reports come through and I can't find a way to stop them, or get the radio to work at all.

I've phoned a skoda garage and they don't know off hand, but are charging me £40 for the privilege of looking at it and I'd rather not pay if it's only dodgy wiring. Any one have any ideas or have had this issue before?

Thank you if you have any help for me

Cheers

It will only be a faulty set itself, either get a used Symphony CD player or pop down to Halfords and get something that will play your ipod directly.

Hello Claire, welcome to Briskoda.

Are you cute?

Hi Claire,

If you live anywhere near me I have an original radio/tape in the garage you can have with the code.

PM me if you are interested.
