Attn L&k Owners With Tan Color Carpets

Featured Replies

I love my Tan color interior but is a trouble to keep the mats/carpets clean. I was checking on the Skoda dealer and find out that they have a black RUBBER set of mats/carpets with the Octavia logo.

I ask them for the same Rubber mats but in Tan color to match my interior but they say they only come in black.

So my question is: Do any of you L&K owners have this factory SKODA Rubber mats in TAN color in your cars?

Do any body knows the part number?

Hi Turbo_ Boss,

Whilst the beige L&K interior looks very stylish, I think it would have lasted about 1 week if I had had it on my L&K, so I waited until the black leather interior became available!

That doesn't help you though!

I am pretty sure that the rubber mats only come in black - my dealer threw in a set of these with the car, so I only use the carpet mats for special occasions!

You could try another supplier like Autostyle? - they might do beige rubber mats, although they won't be a custom fit for Octavia.

Cheers, John.

Unfortunately, mine is tan throughout. The carpet does actually come up quite well if you give it a good stiff brushing followed by a quick run over with a vacuum. However, it still shows the dirt really badly.

I'm going to try a little of Mark Underwood's Multiclean on the carpet after they have been next vacuumed to see if it removes any dark marks. Other than that, we have found that ArmorAll do some carpet wipes that seem to work very well.

If I find any other tan carpet tricks, I'll let you know!

Cheers,

Howard

A set of new black mats are

Halfords sell clear heavy duty mats, that can be trimmed to size. Only a suggestion!
