I have just collected my brand new Roomster Scout with the 1.2TSI 105BHP manual engine very impressed with this engine, my old Roomie was a 1.9TDI which is agreat motor but the new diesels with DPF are not for me. I just hope that Skoda have sorted out the window control probelms, we shall see.

Looks like a good choice - I will probably be going the same way when the time comes to change. All these horror stories about DPF's make me think that petrol could be the future - especially as our mileage from now on will be a fraction of what it used to be.

Congratulations! Let us know - let's hope not - if you have any problems with rear electric windows...

If you do have window problems, as Ive said before its an easy fix as its the window channels causing the issue and also software update is available too.
