I own a skoda octavia mk1 1.8t ,150 hp.

The car is stock and in India it was sold as the vRs ,so it has all the parts except it has the normal 1.8t AGU engine. I want to get a lil more power from it without spending a lot so I want to keep it stock and get a re-map.

So my question is how much power can I get out of it without compromising on its reliability and make it fun to drive without any hardware changes ?

Keeping it stock, the AGU engine is good for 190-200hp.

Is the fuel upto scratch tho in India to make it run OK?

The fuel is ok ,the normal we get is 88 octane but 92,95 &97 octane is also available.
