exhaust upgrades...

Featured Replies

mine does flutter a little but nothing like the rest of them above, I think if i was to get rid of the cat it would flutter more. Depending on turbo to I would say most off the flutter noise come form the 150 upgraded turbo.

Absolutely nothing to do with the 150 turbo. My pall Max has a similar set up on a mapped 130 and its louder and woooo's for longer.

I`m not sure what size the above ones are, but mine are a bit more "filling" of the cut out.

that sounds very dear for what is essentially a stainless pipe with a tip welded on.

as above get the piper set up its larger diameter, cheaper price and choice of tailpipes.

They were running free fitting on scorpion exhausts recently, even if thats finished it`ll still be considerably cheaper than that price paying for the fitting.

Get either the Piper no silencers or the Jetex.

Very easy to fit - I could give you a hand.

How is this trolling? Its an honest review of what i think, as is everyones post on here, it is all opinion and this is mine.

Not really like that tho is it

It is really isnt it though, chopping the back box off and welding on some pipe with a tip.

I would describe this as a half arse cut job as i did, and i would describe buying a system as doing it properly.

You may feel im trolling this but im giving my opinion as to help others with their decision. My car felt less powerful/responsive with this done and was far to loud, its a diesel at the end of the day, and some sound really good with a proper system, but these dont IMO

Must have been shagged then, as mine feel the same and sound spot on. No loud about it.

No lad, read the rest of the thread, the car has a back box on it doesnt it, that back box came with no tip on it as i said

There are any amount of cars that make this noise over here... gagh.

Different guy has made his own exhaust for under £100, and its as rash as ****! lol Its worth watching for how bad it is!!

if you like the flutter and are getting custom exhaust turbo back with straight through back box will be required

if you dont like the flutter ask for an offset back box this will kill most of the noise

Well this is the result of a piper cat back with no silencer .....

As promised, the car is hanging as i had just come back from heathrow. Notice the point when the SMF comes in
