New wheels for the Smogmeister

Featured Replies

Well after having the old black wheels turn to cheese and turn square, I reverted back to standard but got bored. Here is the new replacements. Full race spec 17" KEi Flights in Hyperblack. Extra light and supposedly strong. Have to say that they have improved the ride and handling of the car no end. The Kuhmo Ecsta's are superb and inspire so much more confidence than the Michelins or the Yokohama's I was running before. All in all, I am glad I got them. :D

They were ET42. Could have done with being a 38 or 35 as they don't fill the rear arches as well as I had hoped, but the handling is now spot on.

Commendable wheels! They look the mutts nuts with the sickeningly bright yellow backgound. (only joking)

Have you had after market suspension parts fitted?

Looking good Graeme

I much prefer them to the black ones.

Have Eibach springs fitted, but doesn't seem to sit as low as it seemed to on the other wheels.

Jane - I think the general consensus is that theu look better than the all black wheels. To be honest, I prefer these too. Even better in the metal when you see the sun shine off the spokes. :D

Yep , I like those Graeme  .........they look very similar to a set of 18" Fox R5 wheels I have sat in the garage waiting to go on my car ................

Look very nice mate, good choice. I've used those Khumo's before and they are very good.

I like them too. :grumpy:

Nice wheels mate.

Do you have just the Eibach springs running on standard shocks? Something I was thinking of doing myself.
