First run out with it, so these were a little experimental to say the least

I really like the pub photo,it's so British. Pub, Royal Mail van, post box, cobble stones and even someone with a brolly. It looks so cliched that it could be fake.

Yep agree with previous post! The Pub shot is the one that screams atmosphere.

Nah it must be fake, it's not ****ing with rain.

Great pictures though.

Totally genuine I'm afraid, exactly as it was taken :)

And it did rain most of the day too :S

Thanks for the positive comments

I saw f4.5 iso800 on the carousel picture, is this the widest aperture?

Did you try the same picture with a longer shutter?

The Millenium Eye shots are mint. Very cool.

I also liked the Pub shot, but my first thought give it another minute or two and the van would have gone, also liked the Millenium Eye Base shot.

Love the pub scene Brimma. Love street photography full stop. A close friend of mine does quite a bit around london Kent and France Here's his link if you fancy a browse.

I love the last picture of the London Eye really nice composition with the trees and the supports leading your eye into the wheel. Anything I could say was if you have Photoshop elements or the like would be to try and remove the edge of the building on the left hand side.

I have a Canon 10 -22 lens which I love you can cram so much into the frame. I used it on the picture I posted earlier from Grasmere.

Might not be raining as the shot was taken but it has been.

Reflections of the front door in the puddles.

Really good shot brim a.

Love the 3rd London eye shot too.

You need to shoot earlier in the day, when it's only just getting dark. That way, you'll get a beautiful dark blue sky and more shadow detail rather than pure black. Makes for shorter exposures and less noise too.
