Can anyone tell me how if possible, do you erase or re-set the service schedule that comes up in the dash when a service is due, hope it isn't a dealer only option, have looked at the vag-com diagnostic readers but unsure wether it would wipe it

To reset service indicator:

The trip reset button in the clocks. Hold it down, turn ignition on, hold for 10 seconds - - - appears, then turn off ignition. Simples

Not quite!!!!

The trip reset button in the clocks. Hold it down, turn ignition on, this then shows up INSP or OIL, then either turn (brefily) it left or right to toggle between the two..........to reset either the service INSP or the OIL.....with either OIL or INSP showing, press and hold down for about 8 secs until the display shows ----, then to reset the other service breifly toggle then press and hold down until it goes ---- then turn off ignition as it only resets properly when the ignition is then turned off then the next time it is turned on all is reset and ok!!!....

I've reset mine twice now and I'm still not sure how I've done it each time lol

Hi, Thanks for that chaps, didn't realise it was that easy, just goes to show... bet if i went to dealers they would of charged me mega bucks to have it erased,
