My new toy....

Featured Replies

Had this since the beginning of December, and thought I'd better own up to having one this colour...

Before all posters on that other car polishing site start, I know there's a grubby mark on the sill which is where Skoda had a PDI sticker. It's very "gummy" and I can't get the residue off. Any ideas ?

Thanks - will use a proper camera when the weather warms up. It's too f********** cold atm !

If you want to make a few bob just drive slowly through Derby, all the cabs are yellow :giggle:

Ha ha, that's why I didn't go for a white one- all the taxis up here are white Octavias!

Mate i love it are you going to mod it up i would do the alloy wheels in gunmetal personally but still looks the business

Looks great, really like it.

No plans to mod - no money ! And I like the neptunes as standard anyway.

If you want to get somthing cheap to remove the adhesive pop down to your local pound shop and get a CD lens cleaning kit.

Make sure it has a bottle of cleaning solution.

The solution in them is great for getting rid of most glues and tar and wont damage the paint

Skippy, you really are rib-breakingly funny

That was a joke, BTW

Love the Octavia in yellow  But wouldn't swap the JPS for one B)

Very nice, and at least it's not default blue like every other new one i've seen recently!!!

I'll get my coat! :)

Looking good Paul. Was the photo taken on a phone though? It's made it look a lighter yellow than it is.

As for sticker removal, thinking of what stuff you already have - a cloth with some WD-40 sprayed onto it will clear that off no problem. Just remember that the section will then be un-protected so ideally you want to clean it down afterwards, dry it off and then apply some wax over again.

must admit that I quite like that colour
