I had to have an automatic due to a knee injury, but the car I was meant to have wouldn't start ......

Shame. I'll take the £38k Merc please. This was last year, it was brand new and it had 700 miles on the clock.

Of course, due to it being carefully run in, I did the same all the way to Scotland

Speaking of which mercs use a special tough gloss enhancing, scratch resistant clear coat which is why whenever you see a merc, it looks much more shiny than other cars around. I learnt that at a visit to brooklands a couple of years ago!

Wish they did have it as the paint is woeful on new cars recently.

You would have thought it would have caught on unless they have rights to it as its been out 9 years now......

According to the plate it is indeed a e250 cdi sport bluefficiency. Very tasty either way!! Lucky lucky!!

I remember reading a story in the papers last year that a guy dropped his 10 year old car off to be serviced at a garage. All the cars were being used so the boss gave him his own car, a Ferrari 348 as a courtesy car. However I think that was a one off.

Anyway, the Merc looks a very nice car.
