This is with my car lowered a lot so to me still looks a better horizontal angle.

fair play to you for the mod though.....

actually your passenger side looks a lot higher than your drivers side angle

  • Yes I have them fitted including TT Hubs. They are cast alloy and slightly longer dimension than the VRS ones. Also the way the Hub/bottom ball joints fit to these arms make the wishbone sit at a mor

  • Wow...that's knowledge. What a comprehensive reply and with photos as well

  • You need either the LCR hubs or FWD TT. if you get the S3/TT 225/R32 front hubs they use different drive shafts that use a bolt to secure them not a nut like the vRS. if you look through my threads

yup mine are a tad the other way but mine is up to more std hight as the weitecs are not that good low down.(plus speed humps lol)

Yep weitecs don't like really low, My KW's love it though.....

hope my v2s will too lol, but still not going as low as you have lol

I have v2's thought you have v3?

lol sorry been a long day lol, meant v3's well spotted.

Was a bugger getting them correct tho lol, now tho they are spot on and Identical, unlike when I got them first, then one of the fronts broke on the damping settings iirc

theyve been stood up on end in the spare room since lol, could never bring myself to fit them as they were new lol.

yep not easy to st up.

I messed around on mine for a while. As the rears need setting off car. I set them to softest then wound them up half way. They are very good. The fronts i still need to play with but at least can do them on the car.

Drivers side is stock in that picture.. :D

I mean left side.

In that first picture, it looks like I have better wishbone angle than you?

But who cares, if you want your car low, it will be like that.

Do you have pic that shows your camber?

Where I can get those Cupra R top mounts?

How much do they cost?

We get tps ones and iirc yhey are £30 each but will look at my rec to see for sure. they not cheap

The LCR ones work out 3 times the cost of std VRS ones, so not cheap. Not really needed on a std VRS set up. But fitting collies etc would benefit as the rubbers take more stress.

Eh.. Seat Dealer would be a good start.

Or TPS....

Even Ebay

Looking to do this this soon on my 4x4. Is there anything critical with aligning the the castor correcting bushes in the wishbones. They are offset and look to align with a bump in the casting. I looked at some s/h wishbones and the bump is not showing in the pictures

well the placing of the sleeve in the bush determines the caster, the instructions tell you how to place them, iirc fit the rubber bush so the sleeves can be fitted towards the centre of the subframe when fitted in location as much as possible

you can run that setup without the tt/r32/lcr hubs, its no issue as clive said to run with the washer for the balljoint taper, but if money is no issue then change them over as well. To run with the stock hubs you need to rotate the tie rod ends. Mine ran lower than stock with this setup and no problems at all.

You do need tt/lcr/r32 balljoints, they are adjustable on the cast wishbone, those are what you want.

What arb are you running on the rear, if its 24/25mm the 21 on the front is fine, if you plan to go to a bigger rear ie 28mm in the future then stick the 23mm front (r32) arb on now. 23mm front and 28mm rear is the prefect balance for a well setup vrs imo. Failing that 23mm front and 25mm rear was also pretty damn good!

Hi! Can i use stock tie rod ends with tt/r32/lcr hubs?
