Please tell me that's fake! If not, just scrap the entire car.

Afraid not, a large heavy book will fix it though!!

So you just sat in the car taking pics of it?

I would have torched the car.. then ran very fast and very far

I think that option is only available for Left-hand drive models . . .

It's a Huntsman spider. In real life he was medium size and about 4 1/2 inches across his legs. They look scary but they are harmless. There is about 15 km between when the two photos were taken one was just after I left home and noticed him and the other is when we got to the cafe we were going to for lunch. I just used a small piece of cardboard under his legs to get him out of the car then flicked him into the grass. I would have used my hands if i could have got at him easy but he was right behind the instrument binnacle almost against the glass. The can move very, very quickly if you surprise them so thrashing at them will only cause them to go hide inside the dash or somewhere else.

Probably not factory-fitted then . . .

Mistake to move it. You should've chopped its head off then sprayed it with with a tub of Glade and hey presto a car freshener

I knew the MkI vRS was fitted with 17" spiders but this is ridiculous...

If I was on that TV show thats on during day about families having a trial week living and working in Australia from UK seeing that would have been a show stopper for me!

Nice mascote

Certainly no strange hand will try to go for a joyride :giggle:

A tupperware container seems to work but only if you move quick enough.

Excellent example here of how not to do it

If something like that crawled out from behind my dashboard it is fair to say my car would probably be on it's roof in a ditch with me screaming like a baby!

chuck it on the Barby.................,sorry that's shrimps emoticon-0136-giggle.gif
