Fabia vrs service due - what needs doing?

Featured Replies

Hi, my girlfriends Fabia VRS SE is due a service. . . It's a 2007 car with 38k on it so slightly lower than average miles.

In April last year it had the Campbelt changed so that doesn't need doing.

It had a brake fluid change @ 10k

Id be inclined to go with oil/filter, plugs, air filter and then would you also say diesel fuel filter or that not necessary?

Anything else to consider ?

Thanks

I wouldn't bother changing the glow plugs, I would also do the pollen filter, as it always seems to get overlooked.

I'd change the fuel filter and don't forget your pollen filter.

Normal Annual Inspection service needed?

Brake fluid and coolant if it hasnt been done?

Brake fluids every 2 years and coolant 5 iirc

I thought coolant was "for life" - it wasn't changed on my 2004vRS at the five year point.

Coolant is for life, no interval on G12 other than normally I'd recommend a water pump with cambelt so gets changed then anyhow.
