Skoda Octavia vRS Spiders

Featured Replies

As title, I have a set of 17x7 ET38 Skoda Octavia Spider Alloys for sale.

They came off my Bora when I sold it and have (iirc) 215/45/17 tyres.

The alloys have been painted grey then had the faces diamond cut.

Pictures available on request.

£450 ono

Spooky...... I was just thinking i could have my gloss blacks diamond cut at a later stage

Very cool

Did you grind them down so the alloy lip was flush? :-) they look good!!!!

I didn't do them :)

Spit and Polish in Tonbridge did, always wanted a set done but alas my new vRS Estate has Dark Chrome Gigaro's from factory so no need for spiders :D

Why not get some winter tyres for them?

Wedding this summer so all unnecessary parts = bye bye :)

I'll walk if it snows that hard or borrow my parents Yeti

Nah your good thanks - i'd have to wrap each one up - lots of time and effort for loss of money. They are in perfect condition, go and do this to a stock set of vRS Spiders and tell me the cost with new tyres

their lush mate, best of luck for you and the happy bu'gger who gets them!

Cheers dude - its always a tough one after Christmas selling stuff, if this was summer they'd be gone in a day.

Unfortunately better get used to this in the world of cars!!! You never get back on them or mods what your outlay was. And wrapping is about 5/6 squares bubble wrap over the face of the alloy (to protect it) address labels (printed off from computer) and stuck on to each wheel and some brown tape wrapped over the bubble wrap and right around the tyre a few times to hold it all together. At least you have the queue of other buyers to fall back on, so that`s a bonus. All the best on the upcoming wedding though

Did you really just tell Ad how to wrap up alloys :D

He has sold more sets of wheels on here than most of us have ever owned (or at least that's how it seems)!

BTW if I had the funds I'd have these beauties in a heartbeat. They'd look mint on shifty.

How about a loan of them until you sell them? ;)

Doesn't appear like that to me, I have always found it simple enough and not taken up to much of my time, but there again I have two hands some brown tape, bubble wrap, scissors, and access to a computer. Yes that`s right after 18 years of playing with cars I have an extensive array of kit built up now. :p
