As Sausage says, done this enough times and FWIW i'm never going to get all my money back hence the £400 - £450 price tag which is cheap for what you are getting

it's decent if you brak the price down, that 4 tyres alone for just budgets would cost £50 per corner, and therefore each wheel would only be £50 each!!!

I'm sorry I made it sound like that, it's heartbreaking letting things go for cheaper than they should be!!

I appreciate all this however I have not experienced damage from any of the ones I have bought or sold being wrapped this way. The item is only worth what someone is prepared to pay that`s it. They are nice, I don`t need the tyre`s but upped my offer as you want them sold with tyres and I am prepared to offer the £325.00 as they stand.

If the budget tyres are worth £50.00 a corner take them off, I will give you £250.00 for the wheels and you can sell the tyres separate for £200.00 therefore you will achieve your original asking price of £450.00.

By selling wheels & tyres separate you open your market as people are either looking just for tyres to replace on their wheels, and some people are looking for new wheels to use with their tyres. Fewer people are looking for a new set.In my experience being flexible will often reap profit.

But the wheels are worth more than £250 because they've been diamond cut, their not just silver alloys are they.

A question about the diamond cut faces on the wheels...

Are they lacquered?

Or would you need to give them a polish every few weeks to keep the shine

Dry laquered when diamond cut. ie - powder coat laquer rather than a wet paint type laquer.

I was going to get my Spiders refurbed at Spit n Polish before I sold the Octy, sounds like they are pretty good.

I've had a fair amount of wheels refurbed by spit n polish over the years and always been happy with the results.
