Will these alloys fit my VRS?

Featured Replies

I did try search and tried various sites for checking calculators for if they will fit but I couldn't enter the size of existing neptunes as I have no idea. I saw these alloys today with all seasons tyres fitted for €749 and I get a good discount on top of that. Works out to £453 ish.

Will these fit a 2011 VRS??? I gather that 5x112 will fit but the 57.1 centre hole and this 7x16, E42 stuff I have no clue.

They are not Audi wheels just cheapo ones with those centre caps. Weather here crap and I need to be able to drive in Germany hence tyres would also spread the wear on my summer tyres more too.

Why not?

Noooooooooo don't say that!

Anyone else know for sure :D

I have 16" Audi alloys on my Scout as winters

The key for the VRS will be whether they fit over the breaks :wonder:

They are not Audi wheels lol the centre caps are just for demo they don't come with them it :D:giggle: Brakes are my fear as unlike the Mk1 Fabia VRS I can't just do without them and drive on regardless :giggle:

7" wide, 57.1 centre and ET42 should fit fine. Also the 205/55 16 is correct as tyre size.

But do you really want all season tyres? If, than you should go for real winter tyres.

It is a real chaos at the moment in NL.

Also the set comes without bolts. So check if the original bolts fit.

Sorry, all I was trying to say is that theres nothing wrong with putting Audi wheels on a Skoda :giggle:

Try to look for real winter tyres. They might have a good price on them too.

Although at the moment there will be a shortage of those in NL. emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

Not chaos just nippy (im only an hour from you) just saw them and looked a good price prob would only put 1 on to check they fit then fire them in shed until next winter  (Skoda owners logic) Cheers.

Running all season tyres on work cars all year round for years and have been fannytastic! Only really want them for saving possible kerbing in ice and higher profile perfect for that and the thinner tyre spot on for the conditions. Plus otherwise I can't drive in Germany without at least those.

Nah that was last year everyone bought them then not bad this year at all that set last year they would have asked for a lot more! But they have another set of not as nice alloys with M&S for €1095 (not worth it to me) Its only a €80 fine in Germany I think anyway? B) but the German police don't seem to like Dutch cars :'( .

German police is very keen on yellow number plates, because of the fact that the dutch often ignore the (mild) winter tyre rules the germans have.

You are allowed to drive without winter tyres, but as soon as you cause something because of the wrong tyres, they will fine you. And the fine is 40€, so

still quite affordable emoticon-0136-giggle.gif.

PS at the moment you are not just one hour away from me, more like 9 hours and here the situation is much whiter than in NL emoticon-0100-smile.gif (am in Switzerland right now).

WOW nice! dont get caught speeding there thats almost as bad as Belgium :p German Police have been at it long before the tyre rules yellow plates = pulled over :giggle: But on the other side most of the cars I drive have German plates and the Dutch Police are far worse again pulling those over for random document checks.....

Yes they will fit 100%

I have the genuine Audi (abitos) winter wheels that available as an winter wheel option, my wheels are made by BBS and are the same size 7x16" ET42, are you sure these are not genuine ones?

My superb fitted with the Abitos winter wheels:

I am driving german plates on my audi, and am almost 4 days a week in NL.

Up to now only once had a document check (still with my VRS) at the border to Belgiium.

Speeding in Germany isnt that expensive as in Holland or most other countries in EU.

Sorry couldnt find a translated one.

Just checked the first pictures, did you find these at a VAG dealer? If, than they should be original Abitos and the price is more than fair.

was in heuts

Had to check what Heuts is, didnt know them as a automotive shop.

Seems to be a good offer as they are selling the hankooks at 117,67€ each!

Especially if they are genuine BBS audi wheels.

Fingers crossed I shall go have another look at them and make sure. Thanks for all the advice guys much appreciated.

Sounds like it yes.

Mine have BBS and Audi cast into the insides of the spokes and part No. 4F0 071 496 666

FYI, OEM Neptunes are 57.1 centre bore, 18 x 7.5J ET51, the standard 312mm brakes will fit behind 16" wheels.
