Left indicator broken

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have broken down my left side indicator totally and there is nothing in place now. I have a SKODA OCTAVIA 1 LX 1,6 2000. Kindly can someone guide that how to fix a new one and which part number should I search for full compatibility.

Open the bonnet, and undo the 10mm (?) bolt which screws down into the headlight. Slide the indicator assembly forward. Disconnect the loom. Fitting a new one is the reverse of removal.

Or if you are talking about one one in the wheel arch, then you need to remove the liner to access it, iirc.

Part number will be on the broken one once you've got it out, I think they are a different part number for earlier (pre-2000) cars
