Car seems very nice with a good spec and the guy selling it seems pretty kosher. Any info on the car would be appreciated.

Current toy is a MY98 Version 4 Subaru Impreza WRX STI type R. Few pics below.

You will really like the pull of 400lbs/ft throught he front wheels. It's addictive!

There is no other car out there that can be driven to it's limit and still return over 20mpg.

Hi Phil, nice current car and welcome to the site. My wife has had her 02 plate fabia for approaching 3 years and still loves it. Imagine you'll be going for a somewhat newer model. The only real issues we've had are:

• Drivers side door lock currently out of action (had door lock issues on most of my Skodas).
  
• Some of the interior trim has worked loose (mostly on the doors).
  
• Coolant warning issue so had to change the expansion bottle (not uncommon).
  
• Anti roll bar bushes squeaking like a good un, so next job probably.
  

She's got the 1.4mpi which is fine but a bit sluggish low down in the rev range. Our estate version has bags of room in the back & I'd recommend to anyone. My lad wanted pretty much what you've got at the moment but at 19 i could buy a small apartment for what the insurance guys wanted! Good luck, hope you find what you want, Rob.

Well I took the plunge and I got myself a very nice Fabia Vrs yesterday. Cracking car to drive with some very nice mods.
