Going to have to cry this one off , the weather is too crap to have a good look at peoples toys, shame as I was looking forward to this - spent two odd hours getting the car nice and clean plus a wax yesterday.

No its not and feels very effortless and smooth with the DSG. Mine gets going quick but doesn't feel as nice doing so with changing manually etc.

Well just an update the Insurance company have put a cheque in the post to day, so the car hunt begins!!! Still waiting to find out if they are willing to chase the dealer for the money. The fire claim investigator was fairly sure that it was caused by the work done by the dealer so I have to keep my fingers crossed that LV insurance will listen to them!!! If not then I will be £1000 out of pocket plus the loading on my new policy.

So if any one knows of a good Vrs TDi for about £8000 let me know.
