Going to have to cry this one off  , the weather :rain: is too crap to have a good look at peoples toys, shame as I was looking forward to this - spent two odd hours getting the car nice and clean plus a wax yesterday.

Have fun peeps and cheers for organising this Alan

Was a good meet, thanks Alan for organising it, shame about the weather though. It was nice to see Harry's car, but I would like to see it dry in the Sun.

If anyone is interested in a drive around the North York Moors, they are more than welcome to join us NE members next Sunday. See http://www.briskoda....1th-march-2012/ I know Adam (vrsads) is coming from this area.

No its not and feels very effortless and smooth with the DSG. Mine gets going quick but doesn't feel as nice doing so with changing manually etc.

Well just an update the Insurance company have put a cheque in the post to day, so the car hunt begins!!! Still waiting to find out if they are willing to chase the dealer for the money. The fire claim investigator was fairly sure that it was caused by the work done by the dealer so I have to keep my fingers crossed that LV insurance will listen to them!!! If not then I will be £1000 out of pocket plus the loading on my new policy.

So if any one knows of a good Vrs TDi for about £8000 let me know.

Simon

Is my cancelled order on the forecourt?

White vRS with DSG and alcantara seats, gutted but these things happen.

Not sure as I tried to not look at other cars or I might of been tempted into spending more on a finance deal!!!
