Dance radio failed

Featured Replies

Hi all,

The radio on my 56 reg Roomster has packed in. The display is blank, apart from the odd flickering black line and there is no sound at all.

I take it that is a terminal illness and I need a new one. The trouble is, how do I fit a standard size radio into a big hole in the dash without it looking awful. This will be the first time in 40 years of motoring that I have had a radio pack in, so I am a complete novice.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Skoda sell a fitment that slots into the hole in the dashboard. It is designed to take a standard fit radio. You should also try to get a connector that allows you to connect the cablework from your new radio to the Skoda connector block for the original radio, Try your Skoda dealer first for this also. Hope this helps.
