yeah my old Alpine which was top of the range ten years ago was the same too. In fact all my Alpines have, probably because they do so damn much, that one pretty much can make u a cup of tea.

That's because it hasn't been washed this year!!

Poor thing.

Currently looking at air vent gauge holders, but cant find them. Where is a good place to get them?

Also how do you go about getting the pipe work across the back of the dash?

The Boost gauge i have bought has a sensor in engine bay then u only have to run wires to it, no boost pipe :sun:

Just found one...

bloody hell!

I like my air con too much so wouldnt fit one of those, but nice idea

This is a far neater option (IMO), especially if you like your air con LINK

I have this in mine and cant argue with the fitting/quality. I also have the triple DIN plate gauge holder, which is also a very good piece of kit.

Oil pressure is probably the most important additional gauge to have, oil temp is a similar reflection to what the water temp is doing.

Quick question...

Is this a good gauge?

I like the look.

Besides the T piece do I need anything more?

If you have a look the ebay shop where i am getting mine from they do lots and it comes with complete fitting kit so no need to worry what you need. :sun:

what about this one? very similar comes with complete kit

Don't like that one bit haha. Why are boost gauges so dis-tasteful? Is there any way or making your own faces for the dials?

not sure, I suppose if you could take the gauge apart then i wouldn't see any reason why u couldn't, but it would need to have the marks at same point for the calibration of the gauge.

But i know what u mean, that's why i went with the ones i have chosen. With regards to the one you are looking at, in theory you would need boost piping as it seems to have it to the back of the gauge.

The VDO ones always look nice IMO. Plain, no fuss.

With reference to steering column mount do you lose a fair visual chunk of you rev n speedo clocks?
