I'm guessing once you've taken the badges off, you cant re-use them again?

I've reused badges before. I love little jobs like this.

Buy a new new set of badges for £20 or a couple of rolls foam tape £5 and reuse the

old badges.

If you can be ar$ed to pick the concave inner of the badge

completely clean of the foamy gummy tape residue you can then replace it using double sided

auto duty foam tape.

I lay pieces of tape out on a glass chopping board side by side (application tape still on)

sticky side up in strips cut to appropriate length and enough strips wide to cover the width of the

badge.

Then firmly press the badge down into the tape, emblem facing you as you look at it.

Then pick it up and give it a good prodding with

your finger to make sure it's fully stuck to the badge innards. Put it back on the chopping board then

cut off the excess from around the edge with a craft knife. Sometimes you can do some of the

excess trimming using sharp scissors.

If your foam tape is a bit thin then you need a few layers so peel off the application tape on

the bottom of your badge and repeat the above until you have 'filled' the badge with foam tape and

the last applied piece sits slightly proud of the rear of the badge.

Then find the thread on here with DRJs badge location post and apply detailing tape

to the car to mark out exactly where to put it, Peel the last layer of application tape from the badge

and stick to car.

(TOP TIP! It's much easier if you temporarily tape a plastic ruler to the car

along the bottom line marking so you have a ledge to sit the badge on when you stick it)
