I'm after a front splitter

Superskoda allready got alot parts in Carbon + its realy cheap .

fabianoh, thanks for the link to the Carbon bits, didnt realise some were already on the market, i will get my buddy to look into some prices and see if he comes in cheaper which im sure he would.

Over the next few days i will look at some of these parts on my Fabia and see how they come off and on and make sure its something worth looking into. Watch this space and keep the ideas coming

Ive spoke to my mate about the carbon bits and he would like to know the follow - please keep your replies nice and sweet -

• What parts you are interested in, in carbon?
  
• How much your willing to pay?
  

Looking at the BT website that Fabianoh posted about, he seems to think that some of the parts he will design and make might come in around the same price or slightly cheaper. But this can alter depending on numbers that want the parts, the more the cheaper it will become.

Just for my mate to find out prices and if they are do-able, he will need know if a good amount of people are interested in this and if they are willing to pay the amount quoted or less on the BT site, as it will cost him time and money to go out and buy official Skoda parts, and then set up a mould.

Please dont expect cheap parts here guys, this is the real deal. Real Carbon and no matter where you go in the world, this stuff isnt cheap - but do expect high quality products.

Personally i really do hope we can get some numbers in for at least one part, as i am also interested in some Carbon bits for my fabia.

Duffman502- engine cover £150 maybe more

Stereo surround £50 max- vent surrounds(like on a greenline etc) £50 to £100

The reason i suggest a low price for engine cover is because tooling costs will be offset by the amount of people who would buy it and also the rubbers can be transfered from original item just to be clear.

Also forge do a 1.8 t cover for the same price

Ideally i would like an s2000 bonnet and carbon front wings be that would be a biatch to make and very expensive and i would ruin a splitter with how low my car is so il avoid that lol

I reckon s2000 bonnet, carbon roof and boot lid would look cool but would be too expensive. The guy that done a few ae my tattoos brother has a s2000 with a full carbom fibre wide bodykit all painted white <3

Depends where you live. Carbon fibre exterior parts will go missing

Interior wise these are the parts I would be interested to see in carbon. I've highlighted them in red.

I'm also interested in these parts. Maybe it's possible to try by myself to make these from CFRP. Doing a negative form from GRP an put the carbon fibre mats with resin and hardener in. Maybe i can give it a try.. :think:

I dont want to add people myself incase they are just 'airing' their opinions and this could give a false amount on the list.

Also the more people just interested could potentially mean a saving for us all, so the more the better!

I would be intrested in a radio trim (if the amusden has the same trim as the rest?) And the vent surrounds.

Bit im a bit low on funds at the moment due to saving for a holiday so thats why i heasistated to put my name on the list

Thats no issue Stu, id imagine once my friend is happy with the amount of people on the list he will then take a few weeks working out prices and as mentioned he will have to get / buy the parts which are showing the most interest to be Carbon, and form a mould from it.

Then add a few weeks for them to be made, and im sure he can hang on to it for you until you have the cash

Come on guys, update the list. ME WANT CARBON !
