Cheers bud. Nothing on fleabay at the minute but I'll keep my eyes open.

Contact Seat Surgeons in York, they have retrimmed many vRS seats on here.

I vouch for Seat Surgeons. Top guys.

You got the option of a retrim where you choose everything, or lookout on here and eBay for OEM Leather

+1, had my Octavia Vrs re- trimmed by them, 1st Class. Ask for Paul, the Boss 01904 795092

There are bargains to be had on eBay, you've just got to be quick :)

Exact Q from me too.

Last time I heard about a price for Seat Surgeons, it was about £900.

Reports currently are about £912 plus the cost of getting your car there and back.

Well worth the money, york is a nice place to look around too whilst your waiting. Only took 4 hours for me, stay up in a local travelodge for 28 quid if you live too far away that's what I did.

I took over Paul's meeting room for the morning and did uni work. I did very little work, choosing instead to spend most of the time watching my car being re-trimmed!

Really a retrim is the only option, My seats are ******, I mean really ****** & I have been looking on ebay for a few months now & you wont get a bargain all there really is are battered old cloth seats for around £300-400 which is a lot for a bit of cloth & foam covered in stains. Leathers are even rarer & unless they are from an SE (seriously unlikely) they are (IMO) pretty horrible too.

The only other choice is leather for a golf or tt but then your looking at around £800 and you got to make them fit.

When I've saved up the money I will make a trip to York for they day :)

Keep looking a bit harder then :)

I managed to get my leather interior for £450 on eBay only last month. :)

The Polo GT interior I had before the leather, got for less than £200 as well.

Both in pretty much perfect condition with no stains.

IMO your best option aside from a retrim is Polo 9N3 seats. GTi seats fetch £400-500 and are stunning, they have huge bolsters.

Interesting comment. So you don't rate either Seat Surgeons or dealer-fit Skoda?

The leather I had on my custom-trimmed 2004vRS was actually a nicer leather than the SE's seats but the SE's are better put together. I've now treated them twice with Skoda leather treatment and they've definitely improved in feel.
