Scart splitter box

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend an automatic 3 in to 1 Scart splitter box? I have the problem that the new TV has only one scart port and I have a Humax PVR, a DVD recorder and VCR that I currently have to plug and unplug.

I bought a commtel box from amazon and it didn't work, so it's on its way back.

SCART? SCART? This is 2012!

Argos had some in awhile back. But compared to a manual one ,they'r silly money. Or have a look on Humax on line(,or is it the manual) and there's a diagram of how to do it . http://www.humaxdigital.com/uk/support/downloadcenter_model.aspx?category_seq=64

Nice clear diagram .

I got a 2 in to 1 one a while back, t'was from either bigpockets or ebuyer. Worth a look to see if they're doing a 3 in to 1 which, at the time they were.

I had a Technika 3-in-to-1 a couple of years ago (that's Tesco's own brand), it was sound as a pound and not that expensive. Shipping tends to kill most decent online prices for low value items like this. Stick your head round the local Tesco Extra see if they still sell them.

Having said that, if any of those devices you mentioned have a HDMI socket/port, you'd be better buying a cheapie HDMI cable.
