All fabia vrs come with both Alarm & Immobiliser

Well i sat in it and locked it gave it 30 seconds and moved and alarm went off .

Still cant see where the sensor is .

Pretty sure it uses microwaves, and makes a kinda 'bubble' of detection zone.. And can be hidden in the dash (plastic does not affect the detection) Unlike the old ultrasonics that you could see the circular sensors for as had to be in 'free air'.

Many moons ago my golf gti was broken into, via a screwdriver on the edge of the drivers window, which in turn screwed the mechanism. They jimmied (and broke) the unlocked glovebox. They stole 3 copied cds, but left my sunglasses in the door, and about £7 in change in the ashtray. Police didn't care (Cardiff - Bute St / Bandit town). Cost to me, about £200 as I did not involve insurance and a day off work. Would have rather given the chumps the change in the ashtray instead of suffering all the hassle.
