Lots of info on here if you use the search. Revo and shark are probably the most popular I think..

I'll recommend DNA tuning, Alcester. I've had a stage 1 on the Mk1 and a stage 1, stage 2+ and soon to be k04 map on the mk2, All gave excellent figures :)

You pay your money and take your chances with remaps. I wouldn't look past Revo.

Do you want to pay almost £600 at REVO. (petrol Octy VRS)

That does seem a lot to pay

Have a look at the REVO website.

£499. +vat............................................................. :@

Shark all the way. Ben there did my CR last year and it's brilliant. Nice smooth power delivery and quite revvy. Not much different on fuel either. Only thing that did change was my insurance as I did the sensible thing and declared it.....ouch.... :(

Also someone else I know just had a DPF-ectomy and a remap done by Ben and co on an Audi A3 PD170 Quattro last week. Again he was very pleased with the result.

Just to re-emphasise, Shark Shark Shark Shark. :)

I live near Wakefield and it hardly took me any time at all to get to Mansfield, and if you have kids there's a soft play area next door to him where yoy get discount entry. That's where we waited with my 2 year old.

Like I said, Revo all the way for me.

Let's face it, any remap is better than standard therefore everyone will say their remap is great, but compared to what? You need to seek and consider the opinions of those that have driven the remaps from different tuners on the same car [same model not exact same car], preferably back to back. I can only speak with experience of the vrs tsi and I know my money went on the right remap, my personal opinion of course.

Ive just remapped my 61 plate cr vrs octavia with revo as we are the agents, And its brill it pulls from nothing right the way to the limiter and fuel economy is better, Ive also driven other remaps and like others have said you pay for what you get, Best thing to do is get a quote from us (ask for jonno in parts at rainworth motors 01623 623400 and mention me to get a discount) But be aware your ECU will have to be opened up to be done due to the security on them nowdays, its no big deal just time consuming to do it without damaging the internals Also to consider you can have your dsg remapped as well!. Phil.

What price can you do a revo map for? CR VRS.

What about Celtic or superchips?

Shark for me

My car was previously De-DPF'd by JBS using Custom Code remap, felt ace for 2 years then i realised that the quoted figures where pants

Been down to see Shark (2 Hour drive each way) As i know Rob who works there, Spent some time with Ben,Rob and Mikko and they are top guys

My car now has 3 maps that are switchable via a Shark STS, ive got Stage 0 (Simply a DPF Delete), Stage 2 and Stage 2+ (Off Road Only) on my PD170, Mikko spent the best part of 5 hours running it on the RR and then changing bits.

I was a bit scared that the mapping for stage 2 (daily map) wouldnt feel much different than the JBS DPF delete but how wrong i was, The JBS Map dumped loads of torque low down and then nothing, Shark map is very progressive, Means Launches are now alot smoother and car pulls alot harder, Not to mention the extra BHP and Torque it got

REVO told me they couldn't remap the DSG on the latest TSI engines!!

+1 Shark. With the caveat that I have never tried any other.

On the Rainworth Motors website I spotted this............Revo Tuning/Remap from £249

Does a REVO remap affect the warranty?

I've had both Shark & Revo and I recommend both.

Does a REVO remap affect the warranty?

Every remap will have the same effect on warranty
