I am very interested in buying a new monte carlo but am so unsure on the colour, are there any good threads on here that show all of the colours in great detail because im not having much luck on google images?

I am not really interested in the red or white colour because there are a few of them around my area and I want something different.

I have an elegance in that color and i love it!!

In future i'm thinking in buying the monte carlo dark optics!!

Have a look on auto trader.. You'll see colours on there, but they don't do many colours for the monte.. Red, White, silver, vellow, black, grey. Hope this helps.. ( I have a white one)

The Red or White colours are free.It's an extra £400 for any of the other colours,at least it was last may when we brought ours!!!!!!!

not sure on the yellow - Progress Skoda Letchworth have got a yellow vRS there and its a bit of an eye burner TBH, screams "look at meeeee" a bit too much but thats my opinion!

Would think the most popular options seem to be red white and black (at least around the area where I live!). Shame they don't seem to offer a blue on the Montes.

A woman near me has just taken delivery of a 12-plate yellow Monte. It looks ok but is a bit full-on for my liking though we do politely nod to one another in passing (secretly I think she is wishing she'd gone for a vRS!).

My own choice for the Monte would be Anthracite Grey as it's quite 'stealthy' looking.

go for red or white easy to touch up stone chips almost unable to see afterwards I now have a silver/ grey car chips stand out a mile even after touch up, my red fabia is 2008 and still looks new and my vrs was white, never buy a silver/grey car again every little mark shows same as dark colours.

Well ive not seen a red one in person close up because they are always driving around but there is a used one at my skoda garage in white and to be honest I dont like the look of it because it looks slightly cheap. My local sokda dealer has offerd me a new fabia monte tsi (lower bhp version) £11,600 in any colour I want and im going towards the silver/grey. Just wish you could ask to see all colours at the dealer and I agree with the blue if it was avalible as it is the vrs I would go for it in a snap!

Sorry one more question, is the red monte the exact same red as the VRS ?

I had a yellow fabia no one pulled out on me. And drivers seemed to keep there distance :sun: Looks good with black pack.

Yellow is very bright and does scream look at me - unfortunately in my opinion, what is under the bonnet (of a Monte) does not pay the cheques the looks are writing.

Personally I am quite happy that blue is reserved for the vRS, it just makes mine a little more special (sorry).

And as for the Monte itself, although the anthracite above looks good, i really like my black magic one.

Did someone say silver?

Black.... I wish it was that clean at the moment

Talking of the Monte, does anyone else find cleaning the wheel arches properly a complete pain in the bum? I find dirt collects between the plastic trim and the panel on the inside part.

I have the same on order, can't wait. Looking good. I have thought about changing the order to white on a few occasions, but I'm now happy I have chosen the right colour.

Yes the red on the monte is exact the same as the vRS it`s corrida red it`s a very very nice colour

Was not expecting such a good response and im set on the grey now so this weekend im going to test drive and make final decision at £11,600 new its gotta be a good deal there are even second hand ones going for near that! I was suprised that for the 86bhp insurance is the same as my mini cooper which has tons of extras and sports suspension plus (and much faster) but im guesssing this is because its new? Going to miss the handling, power and extras but the mini is costing me so much to keep and run and starting to fall to bits now. Im sure your not interested but attatched a pic of what im replacing.

Anyone picked up a monte recently? If so how long did it take to get a build date and how long did it take to turn up.

3-6 months for one unless in stock.

Got last one in red in 105 bhp 1.2 today after two weeks wait they are now quoting 20 weeks plus

12 days from choosing to delivery, but it was a Skoda UK in stock car so very quick. Ask you dealer to look and see what Skoda have that is currently unassigned to any dealership. you'll find all colours with various options fitted, however, you may have to compromise on option spec as it is unlikely there is one knocking around that will exactly fit your wants.
