Yeah it does mate mine seems to be a lot better on fuel aswell for some reason. Not going to complain tho haha. Its worth doing for the sake of £20 for the cold air feed pipe and sealant

Given it a good clean..

Then it rained about 15 minutes later!

Mine got a long overdue full decontamination, machine polish and waxing at the weekend just gone.  Last chance before proper winter I think, although I have machine polished when it's only just above zero in crisp clear winter sun.
