Hi mate. By sports mesh do you mean honeycomb grill?

Just had a look at grilles and other stuff and saw that Madmotors.uk do a set of wicked looking headlamp eyebrows colour matched to your bodywork colour or chrome/silver for about 25 quid.

Hi Guys

Think this is my first post on this topic. Here is my 2004 1.2 Fabia. It belonged to my auntie before she gave it to me a few months ago. I turn 17 in a months time and will be learning to drive, so I have been doing a few modifications just to get the car ready for then.

This is how I received the car:

This is how it is currently sitting:

Hi bud your wee fabia is looking good so far but what ever you do don't go down the ghav look keep it all subtle and low key ....less is more sometimes when it comes to modding a car. Its very easy to get carried away with stick on bits a pieces and end up looking cheap and nasty. As you say it defo needs lowering 40mm ....did you get a price from insurance for fitting lowering springs .....40mm lowering springs to buy about £120, fitting maybe £100 or you could tackle it yourself.

This was my fabia..plenty of subtle mods but imo nothing to loud ...   Keep it subtle !!!!

Hi mate, that is one mint wee fabia! No well a few friends of mine were saying it put theirs up 2-300. Yea buying the springs isn't the problem and I have a friend who could fit them. I think I'll wait until its on the road and then think about lowering it  :)

I'll have a look now! Thanks mate :)

Bought my VRS a few months back, haven't done any mods to it yet, hopefully will do in the future when funds allow for it!

Picture is of the car at an Autosolo, first time racing anything, and it was able to keep up with petrols around a tight course, impressed as it is standard. A lot of wheel spin though.

Here is my stock 2006 VRS with 110k miles and O.Z. Superturismo's, they need refinished (original silver wearing thin in places from cleaning products) not sure what color would look right.  Unfortunately I'm not sure how long I will keep this car, its fine and reliable but just does not give me that driving enjoyment that my last Audi A3 1.8T had.  Guys at work said I would love the car with a remap, so Ill probably look into that if I decide to keep it (along with and H&R cup kit)

After the thorough clean today, back to her shiny self! The flake in the black magic paint is lovely when polished and waxed.

Gtechniq P1, Obsession Wax Hybrid 86 and Sonax BSD. In case anyone is interested!

Hi guys!

It was a lovely day in N.I. yesterday so I decided to give the fabia a quick wash. Quite happy considering it was only a quick one.

My fabia was owned by my aunt previous to me owning it and she had an after market central locking kit fitted. This worked great for her but by the time I'd received the car it wasn't functioning properly at all. So today I pulled the cladding off the doors and with some work have successfully got 3/4 doors to open with the key in the door. I have a new mechanism ordered for the other one as it was completely gone. So now I just need to ask her to find the remote, fit my new mechanism when it comes and I'll finally have fully working central locking. No more opening and shutting each door individually! Might not seem much to you fellas but I am well chuffed with it!
