Skoda Bolero radio for sale. 6CD changer, SD reader, etc

Featured Replies

Now that my Columbus is in and I'm happy with it I have the Bolero for sale that was removed.

It's in perfect working order and was only removed because I wanted the Columbus Sat Nav.

At this time I have NO unlock code for the radio. I have contacted my dealer about it (I think having to pay to unlock your own damned radio is ridiculous!)

Radio-code.co.uk quoted me £9 for the code after I punched all the serial numbers in, I imagine there are other similar sources for it outside of a Skoda dealer.

Looking for around £175 posted recorded delivery/courier to anywhere in the UK. If you want me to get the unlock code direct from Skoda (and assuming they want to charge me the £37 they quoted) I'll obviously have to pass some of that on.

I have no idea if the radio will fit your car or if you need anything to get it to work. I've only had a Skoda myself for 10 days!

I also have the Piano Black trim available which fits the new style climatronic cars, I can include that in the same sale for an extra £15.

I'll have some pics up a bit later today.

Apologies for the pics taking so long. Been busy kitchen fitting at my folks house!

I'm sure we can help with any fitment questions :)

Good price that - best of luck with the sale.

Will it fit my Fabia vRS 11 plate? :)

I honestly have no idea, I don;t see why it shouldn't though so long as it'll take a double din radio. I'm just about to add some photos to the OP so maybe that'll help. Looking at the spec sheet for a new Fabia vRS Estate it comes with the Swing radio as standard which is a double din unit apparently. Just did a quick search in the Fabia section and there seem to be a few mentions so maybe see if you can find out there.

It's come out of an 60 plate Octavia if that is any help. The pics going in the OP have as much info as I have in them!

And thanks for the comment Wardy, hopefully we can crowbar it into someones car!

Price collected with the code chucked in?

I'll PM you... don't need the surround as it won't fit...

Won't fit - I need one from a Superb! Damn it!

Still for sale.

Will it fit in place of a stream unit in an octy VRS? or will i need to change the surround? have you managed to get a code too?

  • Author

I think so, don't know about the surround though. And no code as yet. Been manic busy and the dealership have not replied to my email.

All the information needed to get a code from somewhere online is in the photos above however if you wuold like to check for a price on one.

What is the year of the radio/car ???

The car is a 60 plate so about 18 months old. I have no idea on a specific date for the radio, the only data I have for it is in the images in the OP.
