Even Jaguar are copying Skoda now

Featured Replies

Check out the badge on the back of this XK, R-S with red and green flashing........a clear indication that they are trying to live up to the Skoda reputation

I see that badge everyday when I look out of the window across the road.

I wonder how long before someone on here sticks one on the back off a Skoda. :p

They are quite nice and that V8 supercharged engine sounds lovely, had a very brief drive in a few of those last week. I would recommend you one of those over a Yeti, though you will find that the tyre costs are somewhat eye watering, as will be the fuel consumption, the servicing, the road tax etc.

green and gold proves you're old.......I think that's how the rhyme goes.

Neighbour had an XKR.

Went down from 70K to 28K value in a year.

Also the XK cannot even do 300 miles on a tankful, painful filling up twice in a day.

Supercharger on a 1.4 great idea, on a 5 litre, not so good.

23 mpg against the M5s 28 mpg for the same power!

Anyone get a quote? Or were they surprisingly cheap and they are keeping quiet? lol

To be fair being able to afford this sort of car means that fuel isn't really an issue.

Agreed!

my friends got just the XK 4.2 something,.... it's lovely!! you buy it for many other reasons!! :) it's no comparison to a supermini!

and my other friend had an older XK8 on lpg, so it's not too bad on fuel! :)

http://www.ebay.co.u...2e#ht_500wt_986 £6 for half of it ;)

Good spot, but that's only the R, not the R-S :(

But this is a Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag. Not an M5. Much cooler!

Maybe someone nicked the -S bit and the guy didn't need the R. all you need to do is find someone that has had the R letter nicked and still has the -S part of the badge, simples.
