Nice drive lacks a little torque that I've been used to in my vectra sri 150 diesel, lovely car though.

Future plans -40mm drop from the stilt like springs it currently sits on. Anyone recommend a set of springs?

Nice colour, I used 40mm H&R springs got them from awesome GTI but also DPM Performance sell them too. Drop is nice and ride is ok too.

Cheers pal

2013 Silver 1.6 105 TDI, owned from new

Mileage 27500

Extras:

Rear parking sensors

Rear electric Windows

Full sized spare wheel

LED DRLs'

Still on the original Conti Sport Contact 2 tyres at the rear, but on my third set up front. Now running Conti Sport Contact 5 XLs'. They grip like the proverbial in the wet ('A' rated), but then they're very soft and wear quickly. And for the record my right foot is innocent! :D

This is unquestionably the best small car I've had since my BRM Mk II Golf GTi.

Hi!

Nice figures on dyno, where or what software do you have ? I use photobucket for pictures.

I've not been on here for 4 years or so since I left the Skoda stable (ex new + used car sales Manager for Skoda)..

The Mrs is about to pass her test this week, hopefully, and on Saturday we're going to get her new (to her) car, a 2013 Monte Carlo tech 1.2 tsi 105 5door in the red and black with Sat Nav(tech).. Could've gone the diesel route, but worried about the DPF issues I've read about as she'll only do 2/3000 miles p/a mainly 2.5 miles each way to work..

Hope to hell she likes it to drive, coz we've / I've committed to it now...after a leaky, rattly, 04 Corsa 1.2 8v with 130000 miles that she's been learning in, I'm sure she'll love the Monty..

I don't know who's more excited, me or her and it's not even my car! Just pleased I persuaded her it's the right car to buy over a Corsa or Fiesta..

I'm already looking for a few styling mods to make it look even cooler... ;-)

Piccies to be posted 1st thing Sunday ;-)

You definitely made the right choice with the petrol engine if your wife does short journeys.

Picking up a 2014 Monte Carlo Tech in black tomorrow! 1.2 TSI engine

HI :)

Ive recently bought 2014 All black Fabia Monte Carlo 1.6 TDi 105

Loving the car, unfortunately it was a spur of the moment thing and I'm very impatient so I couldn't configure anything different.

So it's pretty standard inside.

After reading this thread I would love things such as, the multimedia system, steering wheel controls, arm rest, uprated lights (as I find standard ones are pretty dim!)

Performance wise I have been looking into a remap, but quite happy with the power at the moment,

If anyone knows of any interior mods or can suggest any, I'm all ears! Please reply and let me know!

Thanks :)

Those front lights look brilliant! Love the stealth look!
