There appears to be a shortage of V-power here in Newcastle. Went to my usual Shell garage where there was none; rung up a few others that also had none but finally found some on the coast road. They didn't seem to know when they were getting any delivered either. Is it just round here there's a shortage or have others experienced this?

My Revo stage 1 is on performance mode 2 so I can't fill up with 95 ron. I could use other super unleaded but in my search I also tried a BP garage and they were out of Ultimate.

I blame all the muppets that were panic buying so the priority has been to deliver the normal unleaded petrol.

It's the same down here in Surrey I've been trying to find some for the last couple of days but with no luck, I'm well in the red now hoping to find some tomorrow as have a long trip on Saturday!

I am down Blackpool this weekend and they have some down there so will fill up but hopefully they'll get some up here by next week.

Thought you needed 100ron for performance mode 3? what mods have you got for stage 2, downpipe and intake?

Yeah, you are meant to require 100ron, however we tested it and everything was running fine. Revo said to give it a go as mode 2 was well within the limits. I have Milltek turbo back and ITG cai.

may try this then as I always use v-power and that's 99 RON. what was the difference like between 2 and 3? Between 1 and 2 was like having another remap!

Humberside. But then they are all cheap buggers round here so no one (in a non performance car) touches the stuff unless they absolutely need to, even then they probably rather walk

Tuesday there was no petrol at all locally, and pleaded with the guy to let me have some, he turned on the pump and let me have a tenners worth. I had zero range and this garage, my regular (local) is still 5 miles away from my house,,!

Shocking state of affairs I never thought of you Stage 2 + guys and the priority of deliveries of standard juice bugger! I was out on bike earlier enjoying the fine day and suddenly realised I was low on fuel to the point a big petrol pump symbol came up on screen that I had never seen before flashing and saying "Fuel Empty" panic time but stumbled across a petrol station I normally use 102 octane but had to put 95 in :wonder: she was well lumpy on way back spitting flame like a dragon! (glad I only used enough will dilute with some 102 later on when I pop out).

Holly moley! I drove to England and back the other day and decided not to fill up and made it back as far as Belgium before I got cut short squeezed 51.4 litres in the 52 litre tank! (was a company car not the Skoda) Seeing the people queuing for fuel was not good. Hope it all is sorted soon.

To be honest I was filling my cr up having done about 350 miles per tank whereas I get about 300 miles with my tsi so not a massive difference.
